A very high quality Chineseexport silver clothes or table brush. It is hallmarked with a Chinese character, the 90standard mark, and the makers mark WH for Wang Hing. For those unaware WangHing was recorded as working in Hong Kongduring the late 19th early 20th centuries. I would datethis piece to c1890. It has been beautifully designed being decorated with ahighly detailed dragon and has been engraved with entwined initials. It is in supercondition being free from dings splits holes a...nd repairs. It measures over 8.25inches (21.2cms) long by over 0.75 inch (2.3cms) wide and weighs 82 grams. Asuper quality piece.
