A Superb Large Antique Chinese Qianlong Blue And White Charger Plate. In very good condition. No hairline/crack, no repair. Got few nibbles/glaze flakes around the rim. Which is very common issue to 18th C Chinese porcelain. And consider its size. The Number 9 and 5 come together means the strongest power and status or maybe the Emporor in Chinese culture. And this Plate is Decorated with Nine (five to the front , four to the back) Royalty traditional lines lotus flowers and Eight trea...sures. ( Four on the front and Four on the back). And the front of this charger also decorated with 9 items. Very interesting. This charger contains a lot Ancient Chinese culture. Pattern in the lotus composition called "tangled branches, meaning auspicious, Ephraim" because of its structure, so it is also continuous with "a perennial" meaning.17.7”/45cm D. 3.2”/8cm H.
