Extremely Rare Early 1900's4 Gas and 4 Electric combo Chandelier / Light Fixture The fixture is solid, heavy bronze/brass, and was the top of the line when it was manufactured in the early 1900's.Beautiful original patina whichglows as a soft bronze when the fixture is turned on. It retains all of theoriginal Edison PATENTS sockets with mica inserts that are in excellentworking order. Gently cleaned, waxed and sealed to protect its original beauty.The gas arms have been wired... withhigh quality antique-brass candelabra sockets. The original electric fittersare a heavy cast brass with unique design that I have not seen before.
The shades are a very high qualitydeep etched stylized floral design and are all in excellent condition with no chipsor cracks.
As a bonus, there are two extrashades that I am including with the purchase price. This is extremely importantsince you cannot just go out and buy a replacement if something happens!
The fixture looks fantastic on adimmer switch (as shown). I highly recommend it.
