1938 Vintage Photo by ASSOCIATED PRESS. Freddie Bartholomew of the movies dropped in to see J. Edgar Hoover, Director of the FBI, during a sightseeing tour of Washington DC October 20, and saw some of the head G-Man's prize trophies. Freddie expressed the opinion that he did not think the life of a G-Man was meant for him. they are shown examining a night stick Hoover received from Puerto Rico.
