ANTIQUE US SLICING MACHINE COMPANY / Van Berkel’s original La Porte, Indiana (1915-?) BERKEL MODEL B (?) CAST IRON DELI MEAT SLICER - FOR RESTORATION. Very rare and Very cool!!! See photos for condition. There is a light coat of surface rust across the piece. The paint is falling off in spots but some of the original pin-striping is still showing. Serial number, patent, and main brand / logo plate are still there. It does not turn easily as it’s been sitting a long time, but when t...urned the blade rotates and the base moves forward and back. The slicer you see in the photos is what is included - nothing more. I am selling for parts and restoration as-is since I am not familiar with these.
This thing has serious potential! It would be beautiful restored, but I do not have the expertise or the time to do that. It spent the last 30 years in a barn in a historic area of Atlanta.
Sold as-is no returns. Condition is For parts or not working. Payment is cash on local pickup in the Atlanta area.
