The Kent Moore ...brand is famous for its quality line of tools and is often selected by the service departments of car dealerships.
We purchased these tools as a part of a gentleman's massive collection of car parts and tools that had been sitting on his shelves for several years. He was a diesel mechanic and private mechanic for his friends. In the 40 years of serving his community he had gathered thousands of NOS tools and parts which we are proud to offer for sale to the eBay community.
Application: This tool is listed in the official Kent Moore catalog as an "Adjusting Nut Wrench" for the differential of various GM products from 1957 to 1965 (Corvair, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, F-85, etc.
Description: This wrench is 10.25" long overall. The handle has "4 inch size" embossed on the side of the handle and "5/16 on the opposite side.
Condition: The condition is used but very nice. The unit is really clean with nice original paint. The metal shows no sign of deterioration. If it is used then it has only had minimal use (may even be an NOS piece).
Dimensions: Overall length of the body is 3" and the bolt is 4.5". The unit is about 1.75" wide.

My Background Hi, my name is Mark Sain and I've been a car guy for many years. Here's a bit of my story: At a used car lot in a small middle Tennessee town the 'car bug' bit and I have been infected with this disease for over fifty years. The father of one of my high school friends was a co-owner in the dealership, which allowed me the opportunity to grow up around these classic cars. One of my first drives was an SS Impala, which has a way of hooking you for life! When you were in the graduating class of 1967 you were born to love the muscle cars of that era. Over the last four decades I have bought, sold, restored and collected cars from every vintage. There was a Cadillac LaSalle, some Ford Mustangs, a sweet 1953 MG-TD, several Corvettes, a few pickups, and even a 1926 Studebaker! This diversified experience has included owning approximately 150 cars in the last forty-three years! Within the last twenty years it has been my pleasure to concentrate more on collectible parts as I have personally witnessed how hard it is to find good quality, original parts for a vintage car. My travels have taken me to swap meets at Carlisle, Hershey, Charlotte, Indianapolis, Chicago, Moultrie, Louisville, etc. where I have built a relationship with other car hobby enthusiasts as a fair and reputable buyer and seller. I currently hold a ten-year certificate from Corvette Bloomington Gold for being a vendor at their prestigious event. As a result of these efforts, my warehouse now includes forty-two 'parts cars' and shelves loaded with engines, drive train parts, body parts, trim pieces, accessories, etc. Most recently I have been specializing in one of the most classic cars from the sixties - the Oldsmobile Cutlass 442.
My family has lived in Florence for over 35 years where we have established a good reputation within the community. We own and operate four businesses in Florence, which enables me to devote my 'hobby' time and energy to one of the real passions of my life. For me it has never changed. I grew up around the classic cars of the sixties and my wife jokingly says I have never grown up when it comes to these treasures.
