Stanwell's shape 08 is a stellar bent Apple designed by the late great Sixten Ivarsson. This beauty was made in 1982 to commemorate their 40th year of pipe making and it's an awesome piece. The finish is dark walnut and the briar shows starburst flame grain exploding out from the heel where there is a patch of birdseye. I love the stem set up with vulcanite extension. An all around amazing Stanwell and hard to believe it's 37 years old as it is extremely clean throughout.
