This auction is for a vintage fish decoy by listed Minnesota carver Rod Osvold. It is 11" long and has a trout form. Rod Osvold fish decoys are featured in the collectors reference book FISH DECOY MAKERS PAST AND PRESENT and are increasingly more difficult to find. This decoy is in beautiful, original condition and has never been used. The decoy has lots of color and a very folky form. It is signed by the maker on the belly and estimated to be 10-15 years old.
