This is a fake book designed to look like an antique. It appears to be made of wood and painted, but I'm not sure. Very lightweight yet solid. It could sit on your coffee table and hide the remote control or go between two other books on the shelf to conceal something else. It is large (approximately 8.5" x 12" x 1.5") and easy to open, so it should be stored on its back or between two objects if you are hiding something inside and you want it to stay closed.
