Really Great Etch & Paint Graphics on this great old Zippo.Nice slightly off white original wick. Open hole copper rivet on the flint wheel.This lighter does not appear to have been lit to me although there are very minor signs of being handled. Very clean inside the case and lid....It also has a very tight hinge and strong cam. The insert matches the bottom date code, PAT.2517191 PAT.PEND.A flint has been installed. The old one had turned to dust.In the original candy striped box in near mint condition too.
Date Code... Zippo....PAT.2517191 PAT.PEND.
I am not sure what exactly what year this lighter actually is. If you know for sure, let me know.I'm guessing 1957-1959
