Hello folks, Up for grabs is an old classic:Apple/Macintosh PowerBook 100 1991 Laptop w/Adapter - GREAT CONDITION - AS-ISCondition is USED. PLEASE READ**************The operational status of this laptop is in question. IT HAS BEEN ON AND WORKING BEFORE! (Within the last few years AT MOST). The inside has not been taken apart but the item HAS BEEN OPENED, but nothing removed for further inspection, only looked over AS-ISEverything appears to be OEM. Seems VERY clean internally. No corro...sion, or dirt. Keyboard keys also appear to be in good working order, as well as the brightness and volume dials. Screen backlight DID turn on when unit was functioning. Buttons on side seem to click nicely still, same with the keyboard— no sticky keys. The laptop is unfortunately missing the BACK PANEL cover to the ports (this was missing when I originally acquired it) The Lead Battery is decayed as of now, and that could be the reason it doesn’t power on anymore. (I’m not going to say it’s that but it could very well be that keeping it from working. It’s either that or just replacing the capacitor’s because of their age).*** Not professional opinions*** Just guesses based on some research.I believe since the adapter was plugged in to the computer at the time of it powering on; I am under the impression the adapter works.This unit is in GREAT SHAPE otherwise! A perfect piece to easily sit down and troubleshoot, or to part out, whatever it may be this laptop is good for either!
