I can't test this on a computer. When plugged in the power light flashes. I put a diskette in and it releases with the push button. It looks clean, I didn't notice any cracks. Apparently the previous owner had color coded the cables with marker on masking tape.
Sold as is for parts or not working due to inability to test it. No guarantee. No return.
