Charming large old French country gathering basket with two handles A rare functional basket for laundry or a beautiful old French style basket to decorate your home.This basket is in beautiful condition with no major issues. It is very nicely aged and seems strong and sturdy. I do see a couple of broken reads. One is on bottom see photo #12. They do not affect the beauty or strength of the basket. I believe it is handmade and with any handmade basket it is not completely symme...trical. I feel it adds to the charm of the basket. It also has a nice older patina. Notice it's original support wood brace on bottom that helps keep the basket strong.Made from wicker, rattan.It is a very large basket, measuring 31" long x 23 1/2" wide x 12" tall ( not include its 2" handles).It's a beauty!
