Offered here is an extremely RARE early version of the "MINI-MICRO Designer" made famous by the "Bugbook" series. It is an 8080 based microprocessor prototyping system from early 1976. According to several sources, including one of the original designers, this is an early prototype version (note the production versions use a black circuit board). see commons.wikimedia.org/file:early_1976_MMD1_prototype_most_chips_removed.jpg. According to the webpage, thi...s is one of only 10 prototypes originally made by E&L Instruments in early 1976. This was used in the 70s in a laboratory environment and has been left untouched for historical preservation purposes. Note that it is mounted on a custom fabricated lucite chasis. Some wires were added to the bottom to bring out signals to the edge connector for laboratory use. This unit includes an EARLY ceramic version of the INTEL 8080 chip with a very early date code. Also included is an 8080 Bugbook and operating manual. System is UNTESTED simply because I do not know how to operate. Was originally bought as a working unit. This should be in a museum! Sold AS IS , PARTS or REPAIR as do not warranty electronic equipment this old. Shipping is estimated. Please check out my other listings.
