From a local San Diego estate. Being sold "as is" for parts/repair/restoration. Does not currently light and will require some sort of servicing. Missing the filler screw, (replacements sold here on eBay) Measures 6cm (tall) x 3.1cm (wide) x 1.2cm (thick). Some corner wear and dents. No monograms. Fine scratches and wear from normal age/cleaning/usage/carry. The bottom is marked " Pat. 440072" (which is the exact same patent as the Dunhill Lighters are marked) Also has the ...sterling standard mark (3x). Hallmarks on the bottom of the lighter indicate the sterling mark, the mark for London and Brimingham, the date code (letter A) and the maker's mark (B&C) Bach & Cooper.(B&C) are perhaps better known for their Dunhill Lighters. But they used their skill and knowledge to manufacture their own Lighters, often using techniques and styles that seem very similar to those used on Dunhill Lighters. There is no information available about which came first, the Dunhill or the B&C. Take a close look at all the photos provided and use these as part of the description. Please note: To be clear, there are no "AD" or "Dunhill" markings on this lighter. In my research B&C are often referred to as Dunhill. I do not want to mislead anyone or misrepresent this Lighter. Thank you for looking. Shipping to the lower 48 only. Everything I sell is as is as found. Bid with confidence, 100% positive feedback seller.
