Vintage telescopic camera tripod with the Sears & Roebuck photography brand name "TOWER" stamped in the side. This 1950s tripod was made by Bilora for Sears & Roebuck. Sears & Roebuck's order of these tripods was more than likely substantial enough to convince Bilora to stamp S&R's brand name Tower instead of their own. The tripod was Made in Germany.
The tripod telescopes from about 14" to 48" & the head of the tripod also rotates for the proper camera angle....>The tripod is used and does have some paint peeling off, as well as minor rust on the metal feet. The tightening knob at the top is missing, but the rotating ball is still attached.This hard to find private label tripod would make a great addition to any camera collection.Will combine shipping on multiple purchases.
