I had one ofthese in the early to mid-70’s and bought it on eBay just out of nostalgia. It is an amazingly completekit – exactly what a pro or advanced amateur would have bought 40 yearsago. It includes, The flashFour (4)batteries, including one in the flashBattery chargerA synch cord that can be used to connect to the cameraWide angleattachmentCaseInstructionManual Now, for the badnews. The batteries are about 40 yearsold, so of course they are spent a...nd no longer hold a charge. When I plugged the flash into the charger, Iwas able to get the flash to fire a couple times, but not reliably and notsince. I think, for all intents andpurposes, you should consider the batteries dead. I suppose it might be possible for someonewho is electrically inclined to repair them but that is beyond myabilities. The Vivitar 292 was a top-of-the-line model in its dayand for the collector this very complete set would be a nice buy.
