Imageworks graphics card for Apple IIe (and Apple II plus – 64k).This auction is for an Apple II graphics card manufacturedby RedShift Limited in 1986. It allowsdisplay of 256 x 192 gray-scale imagery on a standard Apple IIe. Redshift Limited was a small company operatedby Charles T. Springer. More informationis available with an internet search on “Apple II” & “Redshift Limited”. Thisauction includes the Imageworks card, manual, and utility files which ...shippedwith the Imageworks card. The utilitiesinclude basic image processing software. I wrote additional software to allow the display of APT weathersatellite imagery and I will include a few sample weather satelliteimages. The satellite hardware wasdisassembled many years ago and is not available or included. The buyer will need to plan on spending sometime writing software needed to display desired imagery as the card does notautomatically display images in any of the standard video formats commonly usedin PC’s today. The included manual doesdescribe how to write programs for the Imageworks card. The card is in working condition, see photostaken recently. Manual is in good usedcondition. I will also include a copy ofQEX (a ham radio publication) for March, 1988, which includes a description ofhow I used this card to display weather satellite imagery. Also included is a copy of “IntroductoryImage Processing – a Remote Sensing Perspective”, by John R. Jenson, 1986, 375pages. While the text is somewhat dated, the mathematics and discussion are still pertinent.Previous listing of this item was cancelled because of an error in the item description.
