We have several of these drives, and the boxes all have some damage. However, they are packaged very well and I have opened three of the worse ones to use in machines, and they have all worked and are completely mint! It is fair to mention that these drives were pur...chased from a non-climate controlled environment. We have other opened software packages with disks which are working fine from the same location, but there is always a chance that any media or hardware may have an issue.
