Here we have an antique French Boulle lap desk in rough condition. It has a split at the bottom, small chips in various places and some missing inlay. Having said that this would still be a nice accessory for a desk top to hold letters, etc. When perfect these little boxes sell in the $500 range or more. The hinges are solid and function as they should. The box measures 12 3/4" wide, 10" from front to back and 3" high at it's highest point in the back. You won't find a less expensive ...one.Shipping weight, well packed, is 4 1/2 lbs.
