These fine, extremely rare. advertising posters measure approximately 21" X 27" and date c1910-20. These three posters from a series produced for the Prince Albert Tobacco Company. The four color lithographs lack the expected Prince Albert advertising copy. It is likely that this basic image was intended to be printed with alternating copy. It is quite possible that the poster stood alone and accompanied other Prince Albert advertising. Also possible, the chief prints ma...y have been distributed as art. In any case, the posters retain the important title and company at the bottom margin. In addition to the above condition description, cellophane tape mounts the outside margins to the chip board backing. A provenance is found handwritten on the backing board. The posters were acquired with the photographed frame (acrylic sheet window) and will be shipped with said unless buyer wishes the posters mailed flat.
