This is an original antique (late 19th century) scroll-cut walnut framed wall mirror with compartment on the front, probably intended for holding combs and shaving accessories.
The entire piece is in very good condition and is solid, sturdy, and fully functional. The wooden frame has a few cracks in the fretwork and on the sides of the compartment, but nothing is loose. The finish is in excellent condition and is probably not original. The mirror is original and has some scratc...hes in the silver, visible in the photos, and there are areas of very faint cloudiness.
Outer dimensions of the piece are 13 1/2" W x 26" H x 4" deep. It will be packed securely and fully insured during shipping.
