Here's a beautiful antique oval portrait in enamel on ceramic of the French noble lady Madame de Montesson, by T. LeRoy. The portrait is in a gilt ormolu frame with garland and crown at the top. The frame has a stand for a table top and a loop for hanging. The oval portrait measures about 5¼ inches tall and 4 inches wide. The frame is 9 inches tall and 6½ inches wide. The piece weighs about 1¼ pounds before packaging. The portrait and frame are in e...xcellent condition. The cloth matting around the portrait is worn and eroded as shown.
