Something for everyone!This is an Atwater Kent 9C Breadboard with four brass-based, 01A's, three with good filaments and one display! I got this receiver at an estate sale a few years ago and it has been sitting in storage since then.. I have only tried to cle...an up the board and dust off the components for photography.The breadboard is in nice condition for an open radio produced in 1924. The condensor cans and TA unit look very good with no paint flaking or corrosion. The TA unit shows the proper continuity for the audio transformers! There are three small holes drilled in the top, but nothing is disturbed inside the can and all looks original. I don't know why this was done... The insulation on the wires to the TA is brittle. The antenna transformer and the RF transformer coil look pretty good with a few minor discolorations and abrasions...fairly typical for a breadboard. All bakelite components look very good and I have not tried to clean them at all!The board itself is in nice shape with only one modest marring to the finish behind the TA unit. I would consider this inconsequential... The wiring on the underside of the board looks typical with some resoldering. Both factory tags are missing with only a few paper remnants and the attachment tacks remaining...I have tried to take good photographs and they represent the condition quite well. If you have any questions, please ask! If you are looking for a good Model 9C with "good bones", this is it! It is in such a condition that you can put it on the shelf as is! Or, if you want, give it your TLC and make it stunning :)! Shipping weight will be about 18 pounds... I will pack all items properly and with great care.
