Vintage XAVIER CUGAT’s 1st. Trumpet Band Member sheet music case (CASE ONLY). My husband picked this up over 30 years ago and it has been stored ever since
What I know is this......the case measures approx 14” x 10” x 4” and shows some wear, mostly scratches and wear on the metal corners, ove...rall in pretty good condition for age, circa ‘30’s - 40’sThere is a missing leather strap that held the case secure, the strap on top is in good condition and is secureThere are metal corner pieces and the box itself appears to be made of a very heavy sealed cardboardThe case is labeled “1st Trumpet” and still has the famous orchestra leaders name (in excellent condition) XAVIER CUGAT ORCH.
