DESSERT PLATES FROM  AK KAISER, WEST GERMANY (BAVARIA), IN THEIR #1915 PATTERN. THE BACKSTAMP DATES THEM FROM 1970 TO 1990.

THE FIRM ALBOTH AND KAISER (AK) HAS A LENGTHY HISTORY IN PORCELAIN MANUFACTURING; STARTED IN 1872 BY AUGUST ALBOTH, AND RENAMED AL-KA IN  1927 AND LATER AK IN 1967. THE INITIALS ARE THE FIRST LETTERS OF THE FOUNDER'S SURNAME AND THAT OF HI...S GRANDSON. THE COMPANY IS STILL IN OPERATION AS PORCELAIN DESIGN BAD STAFFELSTEIN (2007).Buy with confidence
