Up for auction is a Vintage French Anthony Claret Relic Cross Pendant. Cross measures about 1 7/8" x 1 1/8". ANTHONIUS CLARET's name is underneath the reiic that was put in the Cross. The door on the Cross has the image of Saint Claret and the Virgin Mary on the door that opens to reveal the Relic. Saint Anthony Claret founded the The Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, known as the Claretians. He is the Patron Saint of textile merchants and weavers, technical and vocation...al educators. The reverse side has a Crucifix. This Relic Pendant has age and usage wear. We are not able to determine the type of Relic in the Crucifix. It may be a flower bud or may be a piece of clothing. Similar items on Ebay claim to be a bud and have prices of $300.00 to $500.00.
