United States Patriotic Themed Oval Mirror Frame featuring an Eagle above and a Shield below, draped flags on each side, the remainder in scrollwork, finished in what is probably the original gold paint. Patent date on back of Nov. 25, 1862. 19" x 11 1/2'. Very good condition. Small oval at top probably was intended to hold a photograph of your missing loved one
