A Chinese porcelain famille verte dish Kangxiwith Dutch silver handle Nice barbed rim and blue character mark. Theplate depicts a garden scene with two ladies, one holding a fan, the otherwatering a plant. Surrounded by red cartouches with flowers, insects and vases, in between you see very funny birds. The applied silver handle shows a Dutchhallmark and the dating mark of 1854. The porcelain seems to be older than the handle, I hope the Kangxi is not totally wrong.Diameter: just over ...6 inches or 15.5 cm.Condition: No cracks, on the back you see 4small chips.Provenance: Comes from a Swiss estate and Iwill list some other asian antiques soon.
