You are viewing a Georgian Regency miniature portrait silhouette painting of a gentleman with grey hair and a blue coat. I would guess that it was painted some time between 1820 and 1830. It has been hand painted on card. The portrait is in a standard antique papier mache frame with an acorn ornament. The frame measures approximately 5 3/4 inches by 4 3/4 inches. The image is approximately 3 1/8 inches high. The frame is in good condition with minor ...wear only. The painting is in good condition with strong colors. Some yellowing to the paper. Minor wear to both frame and painting. Please refer to photos and feel free to ask any questions.
