Original Description:
This is an incredibly unusual and rare piece.  It tests as at least 900/1000 silver and appears to be pure silver.  It appears to be a teapot or chocolate or coffee pot.  The large cylinder in the center is removable and has an early handmade design in the bottom which appears to be for putting tea leaves etc. into.  It then can be removed and used as a teapot - see photos.  It has some wear from age and use but this is a 17th century piece.  Overall it ap...pears to be quite usable still and looks amazing.  This is truly a spectacular Spanish Colonial piece.  The top has an llama finial.  It is a large piece and weighs a total of 860 grams.  It measures approximately 10 3/8" in overall height x 8 3/4" wide including handle and spout and 4 1/2" wide not including handle and spout.
