Featuring an ~Authentic Vintage Mop/Broom Holder~
This is a rare find! Found still mounted on the wall of a true country farmhouse out in the middle of nowhere. It is made of metal and has some of the original white paint. It is very rusty but still in great overall shape. It still has the two wooden pieces on the hooks! There is not any makers marks on the back, it just has Patented on the metal piece between the two hooks. There are two holes for hanging~I will encl...ose two old rusty screws for mounting on the wall.I wanted to originally mount this to an old piece of barn wood and use for a display piece to hold vintage kitchen towels.Pictures are a visual description-please view for more details.I do not know if this came from a pet/smoke free home.
I did not clean this piece, that will be left up to the buyer-some people (me included) love the authentic rusty patina~ it has character. Oh, don't you wonder the tales this piece could tell of days~gone~by!I think it is interesting that the person that purchased this item (she is long gone) never dreamed that one day it would be used once again by another family and cherished as a piece of history and displayed. It makes one wonder what we buy, thinking it's just a mundane item, will possible be found and admired as an authentic piece of history long gone......
