Up for auction is a FINE ANTIQUE CHINESE CHERRY AMBER GILT SILVER BEAD NECKLACE ELEPHANT PENDANT. A very unique example with great gilt filigree silver dragon riding elephant pendant.
I believe the clasp and mounts are gold gilt silver, the clasp is hallmarked “100%” but I am not really sure what this indicates.
Condition: Some very minor imperfections and crazing consistent with antique age. Overall good estate-fresh condition as seen.
Size: The necklace circumference is approximately 113/4 inches round. The beads measure from 20 mm wide, by 13 mm long – 10 mm wide, by 9 mm long. The elephant pendant measures 13/4 inches wide, by 11/4 inches tall, by 5/8 inches tall. The necklace in total weighs 42 grams. PLEASE REVIEW PAYMENT AND RETURN POLICIES PRIOR TO BIDDING.
