Up for auction is a VERY FINE ANTIQUE CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE MAGPIE BIRD LANDSCAPE PLAQUE WITH ROSEWOOD FRAME. This plaque is a very fine and unique antique example. The plaque has a beautiful Kangxi inspired decor and likely dates to the later Qing period. The frame is carved of a fine rosewood, possibly even Huanghuali. One of the more unique plaques we have offered.
Condition: Fine condition with no damage or repairs. Outer Huanghuali frame shows minor wear consistent with antique age. All our items studied under UV black light to ensure no hidden damages.
Size: The porcelain plaque itself measures 15 inches long, by 10 inches tall. The frame measures 17 1/4 inches long, by 12 inches tall.
