Included:Antique Japanese Katana sword in Koshirae decorated mountingsSword bag, which is made of Kimono clothSword registration issued by Miyagi Prefecture Board of Education (copy (original shall be returned to the local authority))
Appealing Points: The blade has the whole length of 90.4 cm (35 5/8") (cutting edge is 69.2 cm (27 1/4") long) and is sturdy, i.e. thick and wide.Appears to be a very antique sword of Nambokucho period (南北朝, 1336-1392) based on some features of the blade (not 100% guarantee).The blade is well polished and is in good condition.The blade is very well forged and has artistic forging grains.Nice grooves running in both sides of the blade.Sword bag is made of beautiful Kimono cloth.
