this apparently unused serial cable for connecting your Newton MessagePad 2000/2100 to a Windows computer. The cable connects directly to the MP with the built-in Newton connector and directly to an older PC with the DB9F connector. You can easily connect to newer PCs by adding a Keyspan USA-19 Serial-to-USB adapter
You don't need one of the very hard to find Newton Connectors; it is already on the cable
