This is a very large and antique brass Bible stand. Bible rest is 15" wide X 12 3/4" tall; unit stands 10 5/8" tall at the rear when rest is elevated, 5" when flat (4 height adjustments). Weighs 10 lbs. Structurally and cosmetically this piece is great.... excellent to display that huge prized family Bible. It looks like there was an ornament attached to the front of the base as there are two screw holes. I'm not sure what the 4 holes on the rest at the ends of ...the cross are for as any protruding ornament there would damage the Bible. Insured shipping is $35.00 to lower 48 states (if actual cost is less I'll refund you, if it's more I'll eat it)
