Up for sale is Westward Ho! #14.This edition (HRN53) is the 5thedition, reprinted with the ClassicsIllustrated banner. The previous four editions were printed with theClassic Comics banner. The edition number is displayed in an open book formatat the left side of the cover but there is no price. For some reason, thepopularity of Westward Ho! has grown exponentially in the aftermarket, yetGilberton discontinued this comic. The scans are of the book you will receive. I never us...e stock scans.There are a few issues with this comic. There are small pieces missing atthe upper right corner, both lower corners and the bottom edge of the frontcover. There are also some small edge tears. The vertical edge of the backcover shows tears and small missing pieces. The interior pages are firmly attachedat the staples and are cream colored, unusual for a comic printed in this era. The 5th edition of this comic is not often listed on eBay.According to the 2017 Overstreet Catalogue, Toronto Canada designation on the back cover) are much rarer than their Americancounterparts. Finding a Canadianedition of Westward Ho! in fine orbetter condition is difficult. Finding one on eBay at any price is almost impossible.This is an excellent investment anda chance to acquire this rare Canadian edition at a very reasonable price.
