Vintage CHINESE Hand Embroidered PICTORIAL SILK PIANO SHAWL.Lovely hard to find Pictorial scenes!The body and fringe is a cream color. The hand embroidery is a vibrant cheerful colorway.Weight: 2 pounds 10.5 Oz.Approximate Size: Silk body without fringe about 52" x 52" ( Lavish Fringe is about 26".) Total size about 104" x104"
Could be worn or used as a wall tapestry or divider. Would make a lovely decorative throw on your couch or bed. Double... sided design.This is a vintage textile. While it has been well cared for I do see some shorter fringe and fringe curling ends indicative of a vintage Shawl. There are some snags to silk and embroidery . Some dark spots on the silk... please see the pictures close up...showing the most significant areas. While well cared for It does have a vintage scent. I have not cleaned this textile. I will leave that to its new owner.Wrapped in Acid Free paper and shipping in a Insured Priority mail box.I look forward to working with you.
