Vintage plaster life/death mask-type, sculpture most likely from the 1970s this interesting oddity is perfect for those lovers of the unusual or macabre! This appears to be a mold of someones actual face because the details are just so well done. I can feel the "bones" and structure of the persons face. The white marks you see in the photo are from the glare of the light.
Weighs nearly 5 lbs and the model and artist are unknown. There is a small, shallow chip on the chee...k and scratch on the nose and chin not sure if those scratches are part of original sculpture. See photos for a better description. This is in very good shape considering its age but of course with all wonderful vintage decor it's not perfect. Signed Va.
