Vintage Knickerbocker Golden Mohair Jointed Teddy Bear 14 " Adorable 1940 - 1950 ?

Beautiful vintage Knickerbocker mohair teddy bear, jointed , approx 14" tall, Mohair is still nice and lush, could use a little bit of washup but I do not want to mess with that as I am not knowledgeble on cleaning vintage bears. He is jointed at neck , shoulders and hips. He has the remnants of his knickerbocker tag still on his belly... his one flaw is that his left eye is cracked, it is not noticible when just viewing him but as you can see in the picture if you look closely you can... see it.

Also if I make a mistake in identifying something on a bear please feel free to let me know, knowledge is power. Many of the bears I sell are vintage, although we have a smoke free home I do not know what their past was. I will note if I smell a strong smoke odor or anything like that but I can only go by my own sense of smell. Also when buying a vintage/Antique Bear remember its not like a brand new one, I will mention any major flaws and I take lots and lots of photos however I will not mention every little scratch or tiny mark, only those that effect the display of the bear or are major.
