This is for a finely made Chinese cloisonne cup & cover. Decorated in multi-coloured enamels with a design of flowers scrolls and a shaped panel on either side showing a deer and stork in a mountain landscape. The floral background is cut away to give a relief effect. The visible brass is gilded/gold plated. The cover is decorated in a similar way. I estimate the date is circa 1940-50's.
