Original Description:
This is a beautiful and original Victorian vigil lantern. As can be seen in the photos, the lantern is in very good condition with no chips or cracks to the glass. The brass work is very solid and well made - also with no damage. The green glass has the usual air bubbles and imperfections expected in glass items of this age and this adds to the character of the lantern. The lantern is 13 cm in height and 8.5 cm in diameter (excluding the brass housing). The total drop, including the br...ass chains, is 45.5 cm.
