Offering for your bidding pleasure is a sweet antique French bisque head doll. Attributed to ~ Jules Verlingue ~ and incised Petite Francaise / j anchor v / France / 6 / liane. No hairlines or damages to the bisque. Beautiful blue sleep eyes with painted lashes, eye wax in perfect condition. Rosy red cheeks, brightly painted lips, open mouth showing her white teeth. She wears a brunette human hair wig. She is on her original jointed wood and composition body. Original paint and finish ...other than hands and some small touch up spots. Paint wear at the joints and some scuffs. She comes smartly dressed as ~ L'l Red Riding Hood ~ Seems to have been made with older/antique fabrics. Deep forest green wool dress with a tartan fabric for sleeves and bodice. Red wool hooded cloak, fully lined and has neck button closure. Cotton pantaloons with lace trim, brushed cotton half slip, black nylon socks and antique vintage two tone leather shoes. There is tears to the black lining on the cloak, some tiny moth holes, wear and small damages to shoes and minor imperfections to the other items of clothing. She makes a lovely presentation.
