Apple Macintosh Mac PowerBook G3 M4753 30GB HDD/128MB RAM Dual Boot Bundle
Item History & Price
Reference Number: Avaluer:19577236 | Brand: Apple |
For sale is a Macintosh PowerBook G3 model M4753. I can't tell if it's a PDQ or a Wallstreet. It comes equipped with a 30 GB hard drive (less after formatting), 128 MB RAM, and an Apple power cord.
This was the last PowerBook to include a serial connection. It also has a SCSI connection with Apple's proprietary HDI-30, which can connect to a DB-25 SCSI (via an adapter; adapter not included). It can boot natively into OS 8/9 and OS X, which makes it a great br...idge Mac.
The hard drive is 30 GB, but it holds less after formatting. I split it into two partitions: OS 10.2 and OS 9.2.2 on one, and a free space on the other. Using the Startup Disk control panel, the user can switch back and forth. There is automatic login for 10.2.
The computer casing looks fine, although the screen likes to fall back and may need to be propped up against something to stay vertical. The keyboard is tested working (all keys tested in TextEdit and Keycaps). The CD drive works, and the battery is included (dead). I tested ethernet port working, but the other ports are untested. See photographs for more details. I include an Apple power cord.
Being old and electronics, this is sold as-is.
I offer FREE SHIPPING in the USA! International Buyers – Please Note: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost.
