Exceedingly rare proposed striking but not adopted for the 2005 Official Inaugural Medal struck in Bronze. Medal is struck in bronze and large (measures 2 3/4" in size and heavy weighing approx 5 1/2 oz) for President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney. Presumed less than 20 examples were struck for review by the Official Inaugural Medal Committee.
Medal is part of a large collection of Official Inaugural medals purchased he...re in Washington, D.C. it would make a nice addition for the advanced Presidential Medal or Inaugural collector. You will be pleased.
