This is an original silk cushion designed by the maestro himself, Gianni Versace, at the height of his illustrious career. Gianni crafted this opulent piece in the mid 1990s aptly titled, Tartan Dreamland. There are intricate baroque appointments throughout, which he adored and incorporated into his most famous and highly regarded collections, surrounding the Greek goddess who is perched upon a Medusa foundation while supporting a beautiful floral arrangement. The rev...erse features a similar print against a classic tartan plaid backdrop. The Atelier Versace signature is integrated into the design and the cushion is finished with complimenting gold rope border.
This classic gem comes to very good condition, however, there is a faint stain in the lighter area near the goddess, a few pulls, and the zippered section is closed but the zipper tab is missing.
