Yokohama, Japan, August of 1907. .....A 112 year old, *Rare* postcard image of Japanese people lined up to receive rations of drinking water. *Recent floods had damaged Yokohama's main water delivery system pipes and the city was running out of safe drinking water, creating a "Famine" in the city....*A rarely seen postcard image........Published by the Kamigataya Co. of Yokohama.1/3 divided back, in excellent condition.
