Rare Antique 1893 World's Fair Etched Glass Cup w/Handle! This lovely little cup was a souvenir of that famous event, which took place in Chicago that year. A truly hard-to-find piece, it would make a neat addition to any collection!Beautiful etching depicts delicate vines, leaves, flowers and ribbon, with a center circle containing the words, "WORLDS FAIR 1893". The cup's unique handle is thinner at the top and thicker at the bottom. Base has a slightly raised rim. Piece stands 2 1/2"... tall and measures 2" across top; 3 1/4" wide at widest point of handle. No maker's mark.Very good antique condition with no chips or cracks! Light wear and scuffs/scratches consistent with age and use. See photos for close-ups and additional details.
