This auction is for a very rare hand crafted lamp from Donald.W.McDonald out of Old Greenwich, CT and made in the basement of his home in the 1960's. I purchased this at auction a while ago and have looked to find more information online. They are very limited in quantity as they were handmade and this is #18, but of how many we aren't sure. It is a solid walnut base with brass top and is in perfect working condition. I have wiped the dust off, but it still needs a little TLC to restore it fully. Brass is nice and blemish free. Base is 16" x 9" x 1.5" in walnut, lamp is 24" tall. It weighs a massive 11lb 5oz Please ask questions, happy to assist. Working Donald W.McDonald Sports Lamp #18.
